Abstract

Variations of the thickness of some lithostratighrapic mesocenozoic levels are analized. The Upper Jurasic-Low Cretaceous formations are thickness or condensed, depending to their location with respect to the originate basin by fragmentation; this differential subsidence in the Tampico-Misantla basin, is general for all Sedimentary Tectonic Realm of the Golfo de México.

Also the interruption of the carbonated mesocretacic sedimentation is generalized and The Faja de Oro is observed, in the western, higher thickness of the Upper Cretaceous formations with terrigenous influence. Asimetric marked the higher thickness in the west, including in the western of The Faja de Oro is not deposited. It emphasizes and observes the relation orogenic-foredeep front. Interruption of the compressive efects, the axis of subsidence is displaced to the east, buried the reservoir in The Faja de Oro; the downfall and the acumulation of terrigenous is quickly. At the buried graphic, all the difference subsidence stages are illustrated. The hydrocarbons generation has to do with the neogene subsidence.
