Abstract
The Cocos-Plate-subduction related to Trans Mexican Volcanic Belt´s linear (arcs, branches, en echelon grabbers), and circular features are genetically linked to tectonic and volcano tectonic forces. The SE rending lineaments seem to be older than reactivated Farallon subduction rate structures. A pulsating left lateral shear of the belt´s upper brittle crust is evident; it is generated in the Acapulco trench and the newly spreading Colima graben.
