Revisión a algunos geocronómetros radiométricos aplicables al Cuaternario

Abstract

This paper describes the systematics of the main dating systems for geological and environmental processes during the late-Quaternary (<500000 years), specifically ¹⁴C, ²¹⁰Pb, and ²³⁸U-²³⁴U-²³⁰Th. A short discussion is presented on the variety of samples amenable to dating, along with the advantages and limitations of the geochronological systems described here.
