Abstract

A new species of the brachyuran crab Costacopluma Collins and Morris, 1975, Costacopluma squiresi, is described from lower Paleocene strata of the San Francisquito Formation and upper Paleocene strata of the Santa Susana Formation of southern California. Costacopluma squiresi represents the first described species oí Costacopluma from the Pacific Coast of North America.
